Hi all, I just started taking gabapentin (this is my third week) for trigeminal nerve pain. I think it is helping for the pain, but I’ve had bad gastro side effects - lots of gas, bloating, burping, gut pain, weird diarrhea. Also have had flu like symptoms and bad fatigue, but I’m more concerned with the GI symptoms. I am really sensitive to gut issues - I find it really tough to function How long does bloating go away? Took gaba for 5 days pretty high dosages. Gained like 2-3 lbs immediately. Ive been taking gabapentin for probably about a year now, but only started consistently using it since november. 600mg 3x daily.
