Gabapentin has definitely worked for me. My MO also has me taking Vitamin E, D3 and calcium to help with neuropathy which has almost completely subsided since my last round of chemo back in July which we halted further chemo because of the neuropathy. I only take thc at night to help me sleep, but giving myself a reason to take it throughout the day sounds like a good game plan when it comes to letrozole. Oncologists are so consumed by cancer they can’t seem to think about other health issues. I took another break this past summer from Lupron and Letrozole due to severe mental health side effects. Biologically implausible elevated risk from just 1 prescription suggests confounding by indication. Either or both of these concerns applies to each of the 4 cancer sites associated with gabapentin use. Updated analyses show little if any evidence for carcinogenic effects of gabapentin. Severe nerve pain here from cancer. Gabapentin with psych/depression meds was a freaking nightmare! Now-it DID help with pain if taken with 1 Advil. But not worth the neuro side effects with psych meds! Holy moley! Tread carefully, my friend. It might be fine for you.
