Well yeah creates a euphoric feeling by altering the bodies dopamine receptors. I see alot of people on her happily giving their cats stuff like gabapentin because the vet says so and they have no idea how gabapentin effects the body. Your cat will be euphoric while on gabapentin. I have to give my cat enough gabapentin to bring down a mastiff for vet visits. I also don’t put her in the carrier until we are parked at the vet clinic. She’s such a claustrophobic wreck that if she doesn’t get the gabapentin beforehand, within 5 minutes of getting in the carrier she will vomit, poop on herself, and pee on herself.
