Gabapentin for dog back pain (IVDD), is a drug that is often prescribed for dogs suffering from intervertebral disk disease (IVDD). In the veterinary field, many advances have been made in providing dogs affected by neck or back pain, or other types of significant pain, effective pain management drugs. Gabapentin for dogs is commonly prescribed for pain, anxiety, or seizures. It's generally safe, but there are some known side effects to be aware of.
