Sure you need to taper when stopping but that's true of many medications. I take 300 mg of gabapentin 3 times a day for my Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which causes frequent partial dislocations. Hi I was wondering how to get the best and safest effects from gabapentin. I remember reading around and finding that around 900mg it stops absorbing so if I should take that dose then wait an hour and redoes about three times?
