I take cymbalta & gabapentin for treatment of my depression, anxiety, and fibromyalgia. I’ve been on these for about 3 years. I feel like this combination is good - it has generally been very effective for the fibro even though my mood is not quite 100% stable. I personally have found the Gabapentin to be a game changer! I was on Adderrall and over time became addicted (my diagnosis) because it made me lose weight, helped social anxiety, helped chronic fatigue and depression but I kept having to up the dose. Gabapentin can cause severe depression and suicidal thoughts in some people. At one point a black box warning was looked into because of this. You should talk to your doctor about the depression, because you are having a serious side effect from the medication.
