Australian here - I was pregnant in 2021 and it was (still is) safe to take paracetamol (Tylenol) during pregnancy. From my understanding, there have been a few studies that have linked paracetamol to birth defects BUT (and it's a huge but) they relied upon participants to recall if they took paracetamol during pregnancy if they had a birth defect.
