The Neurontin 300 mg capsule is a two-piece, yellow opaque hard capsule, imprinted with 'Neurontin 300 mg' and 'PD' and containing a white to off white powder”. Neurontin hard capsules contain lactose (a type of sugar). If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product. The 100 mg capsules are white hard capsules marked with “Neurontin 100mg” and “VLE”. The 300 mg capsules are yellow hard capsules marked with “Neurontin 300mg” and “VLE”. Inform patients that, should they divide the scored 600 mg or 800 mg NEURONTIN tablet in order to administer a half-tablet, they should take the unused half-tablet as the next dose. Half-tablets not used within 28 days of dividing the scored tablet should be discarded.
