Gabapentin Extended-Release Tablets What is this medication? GABAPENTIN (GA ba pen tin) treats nerve pain. It works by calming overactive nerves in your body. Description Gabapentin (Gralise®) is an analog of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) that has GABA agonist activity. Gabapentin enacarbil ER (Horizant®) is a prodrug of gabapentin. Horizant (Gabapentin Enacarbil Extended-Release Tablets) may treat, side effects, dosage, drug interactions, warnings, patient labeling, reviews, and related medications including drug comparison and health resources.
